Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System is seeking an Imaging Patient Care Specialist to support imaging procedures by coordinating schedules, prep, and recovery requirements while collaborating with nurses, APPs, and interventional radiologists.

The role includes patient check-in duties, communicating delays, and maintaining a healing, supportive environment for patients in the Medical Imaging department. A focus on training and mentoring new staff is also required.

Qualifications

• Two years of relevant experience required.
• One year of trainer experience required.
• Experience in registration and data input accuracy reporting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates schedules for imaging procedures and ensures prep and recovery requirements are met.
• Manages patient reception at the Medical Imaging check-in desk and informs teams of arrivals and delays.
• Assists trainer with new staff training, audits, statistics, materials, and scheduling.
• Mentors new staff and upholds company policies.
