Advocate Health is seeking a patient-focused Radiology Assistant to support daily imaging workflows. You will assist patients before exams, coordinate transport between rooms, and help with requisitions and scheduling using radiology systems.

Responsibilities include room preparation, equipment maintenance, greeting patients, managing calls and messages, and liaising with physicians, radiologists, and technologists.

Qualifications

• Competent in IV insertion and venipuncture, based on department need.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficient with computers and radiology information systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in exam preparation and transport within the department.
• Generate requisitions and check schedules in radiology systems.
• Prepare exam rooms, stock supplies, and maintain equipment.
• Greet patients and manage calls, appointments and messages.
• Act as liaison between physicians, radiologists, and technologists.
• Provide radiology reports and images when requested.
