Job summary

UCSF Health IT is seeking a senior leader to direct Imaging IT applications and service delivery, supervising Clinical Applications and imaging analysts responsible for PACS, VNA, Radiant and related viewers.

You will collaborate with the Imaging IT Director and other leaders to shape strategic plans, manage vendor relationships, maintain ITIL and SDLC practices, and develop staff across imaging domains. This on-site role requires strong communication and change management skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related area or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years of experience managing technical staff.
Knowledge of imaging systems operations, DICOM/HL7 policies, and data workflows.
Familiarity with enterprise networking, security, and SDLC/ITIL practices.
Willingness to participate in after-hours pager responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Direct Imaging IT applications and supervise Clinical Applications and imaging analysts.
Collaborate with the Imaging IT Director to shape strategic plans and objectives.
Maintain ITIL and SDLC practices and manage service delivery for Imaging IT customers.
Develop staff and drive implementation of imaging workflows and post-processing systems.
Lead change management and coordinate vendor relationships across imaging domains.
