Job summary

Ascension Health in Indianapolis, IN, is seeking a part-time Radiology or CT support role in the Computerized Tomography department for evening shifts. You will prepare contrast media, assist in patient transport, and help move patients between imaging tables while ensuring a clean, safe environment.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and BLS within 1 month of hire. Current students in an X-ray program are preferred. Excellent teamwork and patient care are essential.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider required within 1 month of hire date (AHA or Red Cross accepted).
• High school diploma equivalency or enrollment in accredited X-ray program.

Responsibilities

• Prepare contrast media and medications as directed by supervising technologist.
• Maintain a clean, safe department including procedure rooms and storage areas.
• Transport patients to and from medical imaging.
• Assist patients moving between radiographic tables, stretchers and wheelchairs.
• Assist patients with general comfort care.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Assist in maintaining a clean, safe and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage areas and dressing rooms.

• Transport patients to and from medical imaging.

• Assist in moving patients to, from and between radiographic tables, stretchers and wheelchairs.

• Assist patients with general comfort care.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• High school diploma equivalency OR Enrolled in accredited program specific to discipline required.

• Current student in XRay program
