Ascension is seeking a proactive administrative professional to support patients and customers in a medical setting. You will handle front-desk duties, verify demographics, collect co-pays, and ensure accurate scheduling and documentation.

You will enter charges, verify insurance authorizations, and maintain daily reports, while delivering courteous, efficient service within a mission-driven health system.

Qualifications

• Experience in a medical office or clinical setting is preferred.
• Proficient in front-desk duties and patient check-in/out processes.
• Strong data entry and verification skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors, check patients in and out, and verify demographics.
• Obtain and verify insurance authorizations/precertification and schedule/confirm appointments.
• Enter, review and submit charges for procedures; collect co-payments and reconcile daily reports.
• Provide general office and clerical support to the assigned area.
