Job summary

Philips is seeking a Field Service Engineer in Houston, TX to install, troubleshoot, service and maintain imaging equipment at customer sites. You will manage customer relationships, perform administrative duties, and travel as needed across the designated geography.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in the x-ray, image guided therapy or MRI service environment.
• Ability to apply electronic, mechanical and networking theory to install, diagnose and repair equipment.
• Associate degree in electronics or equivalent; BSEE/BSEET/BSME/BSMET preferred.
• Capable of meeting physical, cognitive and environmental requirements for field service.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and manage customer expectations.
• Travel across the specified geography; travel time may be 1-4 hours daily and may exceed 50% with overnight stays.
• Perform administrative duties including timesheets, service work orders, PMs, installation documents and paperwork.
• Diagnose and resolve electronic, network and mechanical problems using required tools and test equipment.
• Complete PMs, FCOs, installation tasks and related service activities within regulatory timeframes.
