Job summary

Jefferson Radiology, a Radiology Partners practice in Connecticut, is seeking a detail-oriented scheduling specialist to support multiple offices and imaging modalities including Mammography, Ultrasound, MRI, CT, and Nuclear Medicine.

You will coordinate patient appointments, understand site hours, and maintain positive interactions with patients and referring physicians while upholding a courteous, professional image for the practice.

Qualifications

• Experience with scheduling and/or medical billing applications preferred.
• Excellent dictation, communication skills, and telephone manner.
• Good understanding of ICD coding preferred.
• Knowledge of medical insurance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patients for multiple offices and modalities in a timely manner.
• Understand modalities offered at each site location and hours of operations.
• Direct patient and referring physician contact and represent the practice professionally.
