Job summary

Jefferson Radiology in Connecticut is seeking a patient-focused support role to assist during radiology exams, including Interventional Radiology procedures. You will verify patient histories and discuss exam protocols to ensure smooth workflow.

The role requires CPR (BLS), 2+ years of medical office experience, and familiarity with MRI/CT procedures, with IR procedure support highly preferred. Competitive compensation is offered in an outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of prior medical office experience.
• For Interventional Radiology procedures, surgical office/hospital setting experience highly preferred
• For CT examinations, must demonstrate an understanding of MRI and CT procedures
• CPR (BLS) required

Responsibilities

• Provide superior support and assistance to patients as they prepare for various Radiology exams, including Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures
• Meet with patients to verify their histories and discuss protocols for their examinations and procedures
• Assist with Interventional Radiology procedures
• Assist with CT examinations
