Job summary

MedQuest Imaging in Durham, NC is seeking a PRN Front Desk Associate to join our outpatient imaging team. You’ll greet patients, coordinate with referring physicians, and support a patient‑focused center with a friendly, professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 0–2+ years of experience in a customer support role or hospitality.
• Strong customer service background.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge and ability to perform accurately and efficiently on computer.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Be the initial contact for patients, families, and the public.
• Welcome patients and visitors to the imaging center.
• Check-in patients and answer phones.
• Route calls to the appropriate party.
• Schedule patient appointments.
• Collect balances at time of service.
• Perform front desk duties as needed.
