Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet all external and internal customers in a courteous manner.
• Check in patients, collect insurance information and patient paperwork as needed.
• Confirming patient eligibility and benefits.
• Make, verify and schedule appointments, including updating demographics.
• Collect patient co-pays and co-insurance amounts due; reconcile daily collections.
• Assist with incoming calls, logging into call queue.
• Check out duties including scheduling return visits and obtaining authorizations.
• Access third party portals for referrals, authorization, and related systems.
• Daily completion of tasks and email communications.
• Scan and attach patient medical records and documents.
