Job summary

Corewell Health’s Big Rapids Hospital in Michigan is seeking an Advanced Imaging Assistant to support the Imaging department under supervision. You’ll assist the Technologist, follow established policies, and contribute to safe, efficient patient care in a community hospital setting. This part-time role (24 hours weekly) covers Saturdays and Sundays, with day shifts from 8:00 a.m.

Scope of work

Under direct supervision the Advanced Imaging Assistant supports and assists the Technologist as needed following the established policies and procedures within the Imaging environment. Responsible for performing a wide range of duties as assigned by the Imaging department. Must have good interpersonal and communication skills. Follows Corewell Health philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care at all times.

Qualifications

• Required High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of relevant experience patient care Preferred
• AHA or ARC CRT Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire
