Job summary

Corewell Health's Big Rapids Hospital is seeking a part-time radiologic technologist to perform diagnostic imaging under supervision. The role includes coordinating routine imaging procedures, maintaining safety and equipment readiness, and supporting trauma and surgery imaging as needed.

Scope of Work

Perform diagnostic imaging procedures. Under direct or indirect supervision of a registered radiographer, performs diagnostic imaging procedures.Assume responsibility and maintains the general care and safety of patients during imaging procedures. Assures equipment/supplies are present and accounted for at beginning and end of each imaging procedure. Under direct or indirect supervision of a registered radiographer, coordinates and performs routine diagnostic and fluoroscopic procedures, portable x-rays, trauma and surgery procedures according to established standards and practices.

Qualifications Required

• High School Diploma
• 1 year of relevant experience must have completed the first year of an accredited imaging program
• Preferred AHA OR ARC (BLS) Basic Life Support
