Corewell Health's Zeeland Hospital in Zeeland, MI, seeks an Advanced Imaging Assistant to support the Diagnostic Radiology team and assist the radiology technologist. You will help ensure patient comfort and follow department procedures while delivering quality care.

The role is part-time, 24 hours weekly on a day shift with a 3-week rotation (Sun/Mon, Mon/Fri, Mon/Sat) and hours 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m. A high school diploma and BLS certification upon hire are required; 2 years of patient care

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of relevant patient care experience preferred.
• BLS (AHA or ARC CRT) certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist the imaging technologist as needed following department policies.
• Support patient care and maintain clear communication with patients and team.
• Follow Corewell Health’s Patient and Family Centered Care philosophy at all times.

Scope of work

Under direct supervision the Advanced Imaging Assistant supports and assists the Technologist as needed following the established policies and procedures within the Imaging environment. Responsible for performing a wide range of duties as assigned by the Imaging department. Must have good interpersonal and communication skills. Follows Corewell Health philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care at all times.

Qualifications

• Required High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of relevant experience patient care Preferred
• AHA or ARC CRT Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire
