Intermountain Health is seeking a Radiology Tech Aide (PRN) to support imaging staff at St Vincent Regional Hospital. You will assist in preparing patients, transport them safely, and help with IV insertions when competent, ensuring comfort and accurate communication with care teams.

The role emphasizes collaboration, patient safety, and adaptability in a fast-paced imaging environment, with emphasis on delivering high-quality care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• BLS certification required for caregivers.
• IV insertion proficiency may be site-specific.

Responsabilités

• Accountable for safe and effective delivery of patient care under the direction of the technologist.
• Assists in preparing the patient for the exam and is sensitive to their needs.
• Assists patients on and off procedure tables and to and from procedure rooms.
• Oversees coordination of patient care.
• Coordinates patient care and communicates pertinent information to other providers after procedures.
• Inspects transport equipment and notifies staff when repairs are needed.
• Transports patients to and from the Imaging department, ensuring comfort and safety.
• May perform IV insertion upon competency and skill pass-off.
