Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Radiology Tech Aide to support the imaging team at St Vincent Regional Hospital. This PRN role involves preparing patients, assisting technologists, and transporting patients to and from imaging areas.

You will work in a fast-paced environment with emphasis on patient comfort, safety, and quality care, including potential IV insertion if competency is demonstrated.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Caregivers required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient care.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for safe and effective delivery of patient care under the direction of the technologist.
• Assists in preparing the patient for the exam and is sensitive to their needs.
• Assists patients on and off procedure tables and to and from procedure rooms.
• Coordinates patient care and communicates pertinent information to other care providers after procedures.
• Transports patients to and from the Imaging department, ensuring comfort and safety.
• May perform IV insertion upon competency and skill pass off.
