Job summary

Tulsa City-County Library seeks a Dolly Parton's Imagination Library Coordinator at Central Library in Tulsa, OK. This full-time role connects children and families with free, high-quality books, builds partnerships, and expands the program’s reach across Tulsa County.

The coordinator plans events, manages the Book Ordering System, engages volunteers, and works with The Dollywood Foundation. A Bachelor’s degree is required, with travel within Tulsa County expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; preferred related fields include nonprofit management/administration, early childhood education, social work, or communication.
• Master’s Degree in Library Science preferred.
• Community engagement or outreach experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans and executes Imagination Library events, coordinating logistics, partnerships, and marketing.
• Serves as liaison to The Dollywood Foundation, managing invoices and communications.
• Creates internal procedures to streamline program operations across branches.
• Develops presentations to civic clubs and sponsors to generate funding.
• Leads volunteers and onboarding activities.
