Job summary

Tulsa City-County Library | Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library Coordinator position located at Central Library, 400 Civic Center, Tulsa. The role focuses on connecting children and families to free, high‑quality books while building partnerships to extend reach across Tulsa County.

The coordinator leads events, engages communities, and manages collaborations with The Dollywood Foundation, volunteers, and donors to grow enrollment and impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; related fields preferred include nonprofit management/administration, early childhood education, social work, or communication.
• Master’s Degree in Library Science preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans and executes Imagination Library events, Dolly Week programming, and Graduation ceremonies with logistics, partnerships, and marketing.
• Serves as primary liaison to The Dollywood Foundation, manages invoices, and ensures brand consistency in communications.
• Creates internal documents and procedures to streamline program operations across library branches.
• Develops presentations to civic clubs and supporters to generate funding for Tulsa County’s Imagination Library.
• Manages a cohort of trained volunteers and oversees onboarding and coaching.
• Works to reduce barriers to enrollment and expand participation among diverse communities.
