As part of Tulsa City-County Library's Dolly Parton's Imagination Library program, theDolly Parton's Imagination Library Coordinatorwill help connect children and families with free, high-quality books while building partnerships to expand the program's reach throughout Tulsa County. From community events and family engagement to partnerships and program growth, your work will help ensure more children have the opportunity to build their own home libraries and develop a lifelong love of reading.
Location: Central Library, 400 Civic Center
Status:Full-Time- 40 hrs./week
Competitive pay and a full benefit package (medical, dental, retirement, paid time off) are offered with this position.
While this position is a member of the Tulsa City-County Library staff, it is only guaranteed for the duration of donor funding, which will be reviewed on a yearly basis.
Monday - Friday: 8 am - 5 pm, with the availability to flex hours and work evenings and weekends as needed to attend various programs and events.
Work routine requires lifting of moderately heavy items, such as equipment, boxes (up to 40 pounds) and/or very long periods of walking on a routine basis, and/or standing for long periods of time and/or frequently requires stooping and bending.
There are no major sources of discomfort; work is essentially conducted in a normal office environment with acceptable lighting, temperature and air conditions.
Routine in-town travel with occasional out-of-town trips.
