Job summary

Constellation Energy is seeking Initial License Trainees for the LaSalle Nuclear Power Station in Marseilles, IL. The role trains to become a licensed Senior Reactor Operator and to supervise licensed reactor operators in the control room.

ILT class begins March 2027. Successful trainees will advance toward NRC licensure and potential shift supervision responsibilities within the nuclear operations team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year Reactor Operator license at a comparable facility or 1.5 years at a noncomparable facility plus related experience.
• SRO Instructor certification and 4 years at a comparable facility or 6 years at a non-comparable facility.
• Maintain access requirements and pass medical examination as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Attend Initial License Training (ILT) with classroom and on‑the‑job training.
• Complete training phases to obtain an SRO license and supervise licensed operators.
• Perform additional duties including emergency response and outage support as directed.
