Job summary

Constellation Energy is seeking Initial License Trainees to become licensed Senior Reactor Operators (SRO) at the LaSalle Nuclear Station in Marseilles, IL. The role focuses on training to supervise licensed reactor operators and to perform duties of an Operations Shift Supervisor once licensed by the NRC.

During ILT, you will undergo classroom and on-the-job training, with phased progression toward SRO licensing.

Qualifications

• Must hold Reactor Operator license or have spent extensive time in a comparable role.
• SRO Instructor certification and NRC licensing experience are highly valued.
• Degree in engineering, engineering tech, or physical sciences required; advanced license helps.

Responsibilities

• Attend Initial License Training (ILT) and complete all training phases to obtain SRO license.
• Assist in supervising licensed reactor operators and other staff after licensing.
• Support outage activities, emergency response, and department coverage as required by management.
