Job summary

Constellation Energy seeks Initial License Trainees (ILT) to become licensed Senior Reactor Operators at the LaSalle Nuclear Power Station in Marseilles, IL. The ILT class begins March 2027 and trainees will train to supervise licensed reactor operators in the NRC framework.

During training, a path to SRO licensure is provided, with duties including shift supervision and emergency response support. The program emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and operational readiness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Engineering degree or PE license preferred; training for SRO license required.
• SRO Instructor certification or equivalent NRC qualifications required.
• Experience with reactor operation or supervision preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend Initial License Training (ILT) and complete all training phases to obtain an SRO license.
• Perform duties of an Operations Shift Supervisor after licensing and supervise licensed operators.
• Support emergency response, outages, and other duties as directed by management.
