Job summary

Constellation Energy seeks Initial License Trainees to become licensed Senior Reactor Operators at the LaSalle Nuclear Power Station in Marseilles, IL. The ILT class begins March 2027, training to supervise licensed reactor operators and related shift activities in the NRC framework.

During early training you complete classroom and on-the-job instruction, with the goal of obtaining an NRC-approved SRO license and advancing to an Operations Shift Supervisor role with responsibility for

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year Reactor Operator license at a comparable facility or 1.5 years at a noncomparable facility.
• SRO Instructor certification with 4 years at a comparable facility or 6 years at a non-comparable facility.
• Maintain minimum access or unescorted access and medical/exam requirements.

Responsibilities

• Attend Initial License Training (ILT) with classroom, on-the-job training and exams.
• Complete all training phases to obtain an SRO license to supervise licensed operators.
• Support outage activities and cover shifts as directed by management.
