Job summary

Horner & Shifrin seeks a Transportation Project Manager in Illinois for a full-time role. The candidate will manage project teams, develop engineering solutions, and deliver comprehensive end products while maintaining client relationships and pursuing Illinois business growth.

Requirements include IL PE, extensive project tracking, CAD and highway design software proficiency, and strong report writing abilities. A valid driver's license and field presence are expected.

Qualifications

• Licensed professional engineer in Illinois
• Interact with clients, vendors and staff at all levels
• Lead, manage and schedule staff to meet project needs
• Track multiple projects to keep on schedule and budget
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience with CAD platforms (MicroStation or AutoCAD)
• Knowledge of highway design packages (OpenRoads, Geopak, Civil3D)
• Perform transportation engineering analyses and calculations
• Prepare and write engineering reports
• Coordinate responses to project solicitations
• Develop and maintain client relationships; grow Illinois business
• Field visits to project sites; valid driver’s license
