Job summary

You will assist and lead project teams, develop engineering solutions, and deliver thorough end products. Responsibilities include conducting transportation analyses, preparing reports, and developing PS&E for municipal, county, and state agencies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in transportation engineering
• Licensed Professional Engineer (preferred)
• Experience with IDOT and local municipalities (preferred)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CAD tools

Responsibilities

• Assigned specific, high-responsibility-level tasks on project teams
• Resolve engineering problems and tasks as they are assigned, with help as needed from more experienced staff
• Perform transportation engineering analyses and calculations
• Prepare and write engineering and other reports
• Work as part of a team to complete general transportation engineering services for municipal, county, and state agencies
• Assist in the preparation of reports and feasibility studies
• Develop engineering plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E)
