Job summary

Howmet Aerospace in Hampton, Virginia is seeking a dedicated FPI Processor (Level I) to join the Industrial Gas Turbine (IGT) group. Training is on the 1st shift, 5am–3pm, with hours to be determined post-training.

Starting pay is $22.73 per hour, increases to $25.26 per hour after 6 months, plus a $1.00 per hour shift premium on off shifts. The role emphasizes quality castings, compliance with drawings, and timely job completion.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years of continuous related manufacturing experience or training.
• Willing to work all shifts, including weekends and overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate FPI test panel daily.
• Perform FPI penetrant separation and visual checks.
• Maintain test panel calibration logs and records.
• Read and interpret work instructions for assigned tasks.
• Support training initiatives and maintain safety/compliance.
