Job summary

Eden Capital Careers is seeking a SCADA Engineer to support OT equipment and data flow across gas, solar, and wind assets. You will collaborate with site managers and cross-functional teams to ensure reliability in control and data systems, performing analytics, and evaluating new technologies.

The role requires expert Ignition and AVEA PI skills, RTU/SCADA familiarity, and the ability to work independently while coordinating with IT and operations to maintain plant performance and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3–6 years of relevant experience.
• Expert level proficiency in Ignition and AVEA PI is mandatory.
• Experience with Renewable and Gas power systems.
• Familiarity with OT equipment such as SCADA, RTU, PI data historians, and related protocols.
• Ignition certification is preferred.
• Proficient with Python scripting and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain Ignition SCADA System, including gateways, screens, alarms, historian, and integration.
• Manage OT SCADA equipment, including servers and point configurations, ensuring systems are up to date.
• Develop data flows and displays in Ignition Perspective for analytics and visualization of operational data.
• Troubleshoot and maintain connections among OT equipment (RTUs, RIGs, data loggers, etc.).
• Coordinate with IT as primary point of contact for plant operations.
• Support NERC CIP compliance and SCADA lifecycle refresh.
