Job summary

RON SUNSHINE ASSOCIATES LLC seeks an experienced SCADA Engineer to support OT equipment and data flows across gas, solar and wind assets. You will design, maintain and troubleshoot Ignition-based SCADA systems, ensure reliable data connections, and collaborate with IT to align plant operations with corporate objectives.

The role requires 3–6 years in OT/SCADA, strong Ignition and AVEA PI skills, and a background in renewable/gas power systems. A driver license is required for site access.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• 3-6 years of experience in OT/SCADA environments preferred.
• Expert level in Ignition and AVEA PI is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain Ignition SCADA System (Gateways, screens, alarms, historian, integration).
• Manage OT SCADA equipment including servers and configurations; keep systems updated.
• Develop data flows in Ignition Perspective for analytics and visualization of OT data.
• Troubleshoot and maintain connections between OT equipment (RTUs, SCADA, data loggers).
• Coordinate with IT for plant operations; ensure assets comply with NERC CIP.
