Job summary

KingRecruitingServices is seeking a SCADA Engineer to support OT equipment and OT data flows across gas, solar, and wind assets. You will partner with site managers and engineering teams to ensure reliable control and data systems, while supporting analytics, AI initiatives, and asset compliance.

The role requires strong Ignition and AVEA PI skills, familiarity with RTUs, data historians, and Modbus protocols, plus Python scripting experience.

Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor’s degree with 3–6 years of experience in OT/SCADA environments.
Expert level Ignition and AVEA PI proficiency is mandatory.
Experience with Renewable and Gas power systems is required.
Familiarity with OT equipment such as SCADA, RTUs, PI historians, SEL-RTAC, DNP, OPC, and Modbus protocols.

Responsibilities

Design and maintain Ignition SCADA System including gateways, screens, alarms, historian, and integration.
Manage OT SCADA equipment, servers, and point configurations; keep systems up to date.
Develop data flows and displays in Ignition Perspective for advanced analytics and visualization of Operational Data.
Troubleshoot connections between OT equipment and control systems, RIGs, RTUs, data loggers.
Coordinate with IT as primary operations contact; ensure asset compliance with NERC CIP.
