Job summary

H.T. Prof Executive Search seeks a SCADA Engineer to support OT equipment and data flow across gas, solar and wind assets. You will work with site managers and engineering teams to ensure reliable control and data systems, while evaluating emerging technologies.

The role requires 3–6 years of experience, expert Ignition and AVEA PI skills, and a strong background in renewable and gas power, RTU/PI historians, and data integration. This is an on‑site position based in Denver.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3-6 years of OT/SCADA experience.
• Expert level Ignition and AVEA PI proficiency required.
• Experience with renewable and gas power systems.
• Familiar with OT equipment: RTU, PI historians, and OPC/Modbus.
• Ignition certification preferred.
• Strong analytical and self-starting work style.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain Ignition SCADA system gateways, screens, alarms, and historian integration.
• Manage OT SCADA equipment and ensure systems are up to date.
• Develop data flows and displays in Ignition Perspective for analytics.
• Troubleshoot connections between OT equipment and control systems.
• Coordinate with IT for plant operations and data integration.
• Support SCADA lifecycle refresh and AI initiatives.
