Job summary

PUC Schools is seeking a dedicated Special Education Case Manager to lead IEP case management and ensure compliance with federal, state, and district policies at the Los Angeles site. The role requires passion for students with disabilities and strong collaboration with the Inclusion Department.

You will manage IEP processes, coordinate meetings, and ensure timely documentation while working closely with families, teachers, and outside vendors to provide required services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Master’s degree in special education preferred.
• California credential (Special Education) required.
• BCLAD/CLAD certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Case manage IEPs, including meeting coordination and documentation per federal/state regulations.
• Facilitate IEP team meetings and resolve disagreements with a student-centered approach.
• Utilize Welligent for IEP management and ensure full compliance.
• Ensure IEP timetable compliance using regional mandates and documentation.
• Produce and review compliance reports; address issues promptly.
• Develop goals and provide PD support to staff to meet students’ needs.
• Coordinate progress report completion per district guidelines.
• Maintain communications with parents/guardians and other stakeholders about IEPs.
