Job summary

PUC Schools in Los Angeles is seeking an Inclusion Specialist to support students with disabilities identified by IEPs, coordinate special services, and collaborate with teachers to promote college readiness and student success.

You will communicate with families weekly, monitor progress, and participate in school-based teams to drive positive outcomes. Bilingual Spanish preferred and familiarity with CA standards are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Possession of a valid Preliminary or Clear Education Specialist Instruction Credential OR University Internship Credential eligible (Intern eligibility letter required).
• Experience with IEPs, disability services, and collaboration with general education staff.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and serve students with IEP-identified needs in collaboration with the IEP team.
• Inform and assist students with disabilities and their parents.
• Coordinate special education services with regular school programs.
• Monitor student progress daily and prepare substitute lesson plans when needed.
• Build relationships with students and their families; communicate weekly with guardians.
• Participate in Academic Success Team and other school meetings.
• Attend professional development trainings and support school-wide goals.
