Job summary

PUC Schools in Los Angeles, CA, seeks an Inclusion Assistant to support students with IEPs under the supervision of an Inclusion Specialist. You will provide direct support in inclusive classrooms, collect data, assist with testing and accommodations, and help with schedules, reports, and daily tasks among staff.

The role emphasizes collaboration, behavior support, de-escalation, and building relationships with students.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in data collection for behavioral and academic data.
• Knowledge of IEPs and ABA concepts is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support students with IEPs in inclusive classrooms as directed.
• Assist with data collection, testing, and progress monitoring.
• Help with scheduling, reports, student files, and instructional tasks.
• Provide behavior support, de-escalation, and relationship-building with students.
