Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking a Staff Design Researcher for the Identity XD team to shape how customers create, verify, and manage their Intuit accounts across products like TurboTax, QuickBooks, and Credit Karma.

You will lead end-to-end research, incorporating AI tools to accelerate recruiting and synthesis, while ensuring rigor in security and user trust. Reporting to the Group Product Design Manager, you will drive research for identity-related experiences, balancing product speed with customer

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field; graduate degree common at this level
• Experience integrating AI tools into design workflows to improve quality/speed
• 7+ years leading research in a professional environment, preferably tech
• Experience in identity, security, trust, or fintech domains
• Depth across mixed methods: generative, evaluative, surveys, and analytics
• Portfolio showing impact on product direction and measurable outcomes
• Ability to coach non-researchers in light-touch studies
• Strong storytelling to drive action with senior audiences

Responsibilities

• Set Identity research agenda across portfolio with clear business value
• Lead multi-study programs across customer segments, products, surfaces
• Turn evidence into actionable decisions with clear frameworks and roadmaps
• Raise the bar for research and guide wider AI use in research
• Design experiences that make AI-powered features intuitive and trustworthy
