Job summary

Arizona Department of Education seeks an ESS, Administrative Services Officer 2 in Phoenix to oversee IDEA grant funds and provide fiscal oversight, compliance, and technical assistance. The role requires coordination with Grants Management and PEAs, ensuring timely reviews and accurate reporting.

The position supports MOE/OFCEIS processes, maintains records, and offers internal/external training on IDEA program management, with travel requirements and a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Approval processes involved with grant applications.
• Accounting, procurement, and budgeting knowledge.
• State and federal laws in grants and IDEA requirements.
• Understanding of OMB Uniform Grant Guidance.
• Experience with MOE, CEIS/CCEIS, and excess cost tracking.

Responsibilities

• Provide fiscal oversight and technical assistance for IDEA grant funds 611 and 619.
• Communicate with Grants Management for timely reviews and inquiries.
• Track CEIS/CCEIS budgets, expenditures, and reporting.
• Review MOE documentation and ensure compliance with federal requirements.
• Maintain MOE records and support fiscal monitoring activities.
• Coordinate IDEA MOE, MOE calculations, and reporting.
• Train internal and external stakeholders on IDEA Program Management.
