Job summary

The Department of Economic Security (DES) seeks a Contract Management Specialist to manage post-award administration of contracts, grants, and intergovernmental agreements. This role involves coordinating with program teams, providing contractor training, and monitoring compliance across the state, with some remote work possible within Arizona.

Essential duties include contract lifecycle management, CCRs, and maintaining all required documentation, with in-state travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or public administration, management, finance or related field.
• 1 year of contract management or contract compliance experience (or 3 years with related responsibilities).
• In-state travel may be required and background/reference checks completed.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and coordinate contract/grant documents and DSAs throughout the lifecycle.
• Conduct statewide on-site and virtual Contract Compliance Reviews (CCRs).
• Provide training and technical assistance to contractors and ensure compliance.
• Maintain fully executed agreements and related background checks/insurance in files.
• Monitor Corrective Improvement Plans (CIPs) and coordinate resolutions with program/fiscal staff.
