Job summary

REM Community Services, a part of the Sevita family, is seeking a Program Director for IDD Services in Wisconsin. You will manage day-to-day operations of one to four programs, coordinate direct supports, planning, health care, advocacy and regulatory compliance, and foster meaningful relationships with individuals served.

This full-time, on-site role includes staff supervision, on-call coverage, and involvement in hiring decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.
• Current driver’s license, car registration, and auto insurance required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task to meet deadlines.
• Effective communication skills and a compassionate approach.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of 1–4 community programs including supports, planning, healthcare, advocacy, regulatory compliance, staffing, and facilities.
• Manage program staff including performance evaluations, scheduling, and orientation.
• Make recommendations on hires, transfers, promotions, salary changes, and terminations.
• Monitor service delivery to ensure engaging, person-centered supports.
• Be on-call to support staff and cover shifts as needed.
