Job summary

REM Community Services, a part of Sevita, provides community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role leads daily operations for IDD programs, ensuring person-centered planning, health care, and regulatory compliance while guiding staff teams and sustaining program growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2–3 years in Human Services preferred.
• State requirements certifications or licensure may apply.
• Current driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and compassionate approach.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of one to four programs, including services, planning, health care, advocacy, regulatory compliance, staffing, and finances.
• Manage program staff, including performance evaluations, scheduling, and orientation.
• Make recommendations on hires, transfers, promotions, salary changes, corrective action, and terminations.
• Oversee program planning; monitor delivery of services and supports; ensure services are engaging and relevant.
• Must be available on-call to support staff and cover shifts as needed.
