Job summary

REM Community Services, a part of the Sevita family, is seeking a Program Director for IDD Services to lead up to four community programs. You will oversee direct supports, person-centered planning, health care, advocacy, and regulatory compliance while managing budgets and staffing.

You will supervise staff, participate in hiring decisions, ensure high-quality service delivery, and remain on-call to support coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2–3 years of related experience in human services preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• State requirements or regulations may apply to education/licensing.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of 1–4 programs, including direct supports, person-centered planning, health care, advocacy, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage program staff including performance evaluations, scheduling, and orientation.
• Make recommendations on hires, transfers, promotions, salary changes, corrective action, and terminations.
• Oversee program planning, monitor service delivery, ensure services are engaging and aligned with individuals' needs.
• Be available on-call to support staff, cover shifts as needed.
