Job summary

REM Community Services, a part of the Sevita family, seeks a Program Director for IDD Services in Wisconsin. The role oversees day-to-day operations of multiple programs, directs direct supports, planning, and regulatory compliance, and ensures quality services for individuals with IDD.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Human Services (or equivalent) with 2–3 years of related experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and a willingness to be on-call to support staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and two to three years of related experience in the Human Services Industry preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted per state requirements.
• Current driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multi-task to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of one to four programs in a community setting, including organization and implementation of direct supports, person-centered planning, health care, advocacy, stakeholder relations, regulatory compliance, recruiting, retention, staffing, training, safety, and maintenance of the environment.
• Lead program staff with performance evaluations, scheduling, and orientation.
• Make recommendations on hires, transfers, promotions, salary changes, corrective action, and terminations.
• Oversee program planning; monitor service delivery to ensure consistency, engagement, and relevance for individuals served.
• Be available on-call to support staff and cover shifts as needed.
