Job summary

REM Community Services, part of Sevita, seeks a Program Director for IDD Services to lead daily operations across community programs, ensure person-centered planning, and oversee regulatory compliance, health care, and staff management.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Human Services plus 2–3 years’ related experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and a compassionate approach. On-call availability is required to support staff and ensure safe, engaging services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field preferred.
• Equivalency may substitute for degree with related experience.
• Understanding of regulatory and state requirements for IDD services.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of 1–4 programs including planning, health care, and compliance.
• Supervise program staff with evaluations, scheduling, and orientation.
• Make hiring, promotion, and salary decisions as needed.
• Oversee service delivery to ensure engaging, person-centered supports.
• Be on-call to support staff and cover shifts when necessary.
