Job summary

Sevita is seeking a Program Director for IDD Services to lead day-to-day operations of 1–4 programs, ensuring quality supports and regulatory compliance. You will oversee direct supports, planning, health care, advocacy, and stakeholder relations while building strong relationships with individuals served and staff.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor's degree and several years in human services, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to manage staffing, scheduling, and on-call

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and two to three years of related experience in the Human Services Industry preferred.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Current driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task to meet deadlines.
• Effective communication skills to manage relationships.
• A reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of 1–4 programs, including direct supports, planning, health care, advocacy, stakeholder relations, regulatory compliance, recruiting, retention, staffing, training, safety, and maintenance of the physical environment.
• Manage program staff with performance evaluations, scheduling, and orientation.
• Make recommendations and/or decisions on employee hires, transfers, promotions, salary changes, corrective action, and terminations.
• Monitor delivery of services and supports to ensure they are engaging and relevant to individuals served.
• Must be available on-call to support staff, find coverage or cover shifts as needed.
