Job summary

Dungarvin Indiana seeks an experienced Director of IDD Residential Services (Area Director) to lead a regional portfolio of residential programs. You will strengthen teams, develop leaders, and ensure stable, compliant operations during growth.

Working with Area Managers and state leadership, you will guide change, optimize processes, and keep people served at the center of every decision while driving impact across multiple sites in Lafayette and Kokomo.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field required.
• 5+ years of experience supporting individuals with IDD/DD and leading residential services.
• 2+ years of progressive leadership experience.
• Working knowledge of Indiana FSSA/BDDS requirements, HCBS/CIH and Medicaid Waiver programs.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 and data analytics to monitor trends and performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead & Develop: build strong teams through coaching and retention while strengthening leadership across the region.
• Lead Through Change: guide teams through transitions, communicate change effectively, and ensure stability.
• Drive Performance: monitor budgets, staffing, and KPIs to improve program performance.
