Job summary

REM Community Services, part of the Sevita family, is hiring a Program Director in Loudonville, OH. The role oversees 1–4 IDD service programs, including direct supports, planning, health care, advocacy, and regulatory compliance. It requires coordinating staff, scheduling, and ensuring high-quality services while remaining on-call for coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required.
• Two to three years of related experience in Intellectual and Developmental Disability services.
• State requirements or licensure as applicable.
• Valid driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and compassionate approach.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of 1–4 programs within the community.
• Organize and implement direct supports, person-centered planning, health care, and regulatory compliance.
• Recruitment, retention, staffing, training, safety, and facility maintenance.
• Manage program staff including performance evaluations, scheduling, and orientation.
• Remain on-call to support staff and arrange coverage as needed.

Education

Bachelor's degree

Two to three years of related experience in Intellectual and Developmental Disability services

Current driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Effective communication skills
