Job summary

REM Community Services, a part of Sevita, is seeking a Program Director, IDD Services to lead day-to-day operations across multiple community programs supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

You will supervise staff, ensure regulatory compliance, coordinate person-centered planning, and oversee health care, advocacy, and service delivery while remaining on-call to support staff and coverage needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2–3 years of related experience in Human Services preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.
• Current driver’s license, car registration, and auto insurance required.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to multi-task to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of 1–4 community programs, including direct supports, person-centered planning, health care, advocacy, regulatory compliance, staffing, and maintenance.
• Supervise program staff with evaluations, scheduling, and orientation.
• Make hiring, transfer, promotion, salary, and disciplinary decisions.
• Monitor service delivery, ensure offerings are engaging and relevant to individuals served.
• Be on-call to support staff and cover shifts as needed.
