Job summary

REM Community Services, part of the Sevita family, seeks a Program Director for IDD Services to lead 1–4 programs in the community, oversee direct supports, planning, health care, advocacy, and regulatory compliance.

You will recruit and develop staff, conduct evaluations, handle hiring decisions, and ensure services stay engaging and aligned with individuals' goals. On-call availability is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2–3 years of related experience in the Human Services Industry preferred.
• Current driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Compassionate, reliable attitude and a patient, multi-tasking approach.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of 1–4 programs in a community.
• Oversee program staff performance, scheduling, and orientation.
• Make HR decisions on hires, transfers, promotions, and salary changes.
• Ensure services are delivered per plan and remain engaging.
• Be available on-call to support staff.
