Job summary

REM Community Services, part of Sevita, seeks a Program Director for IDD Services to lead 1–4 programs. You will oversee direct supports, person-centered planning, health care coordination, regulatory compliance, staff management, and budgeting.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 2–3 years in Human Services, strong communication and organizational skills, and a compassionate, reliable approach. On-call coverage is expected, with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2–3 years in Human Services preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• State requirements or regulations may apply.
• Current driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multi-task.
• Effective communication to manage relationships.
• Reliable, compassionate attitude.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of 1–4 programs with direct supports, planning, health care, advocacy, compliance, staffing, and budgeting.
• Supervise program staff, conduct evaluations, schedule, and orientation.
• Make recommendations on hires, transfers, promotions, salary changes, and corrective action.
• Oversee program planning; monitor service delivery to ensure engaging, relevant supports.
• Be available on-call to support staff and cover shifts as needed.
