Job summary

REM Community Services, a part of the Sevita family, is hiring a Program Director for IDD Services. The role leads day-to-day operations of multiple community programs, ensuring quality supports and regulatory compliance.

You will manage staff, oversee planning and service delivery, and be on-call to support coverage as needed. The position emphasizes compassionate leadership and strong organizational skills in a mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2–3 years of related experience in Human Services preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• State requirements or regulations may require additional education, licensure, or certification.
• Current driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; ability to multi-task.
• Effective communication skills to manage relationships.
• Reliable, responsible attitude with a compassionate approach.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of 1–4 programs, including direct supports, health care, staffing, budgeting, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead program staff, including performance evaluations, scheduling, and orientation.
• Make recommendations on hires, transfers, promotions, salary actions, and terminations.
• Oversee program planning and ensure services are engaging and aligned with individuals' needs.
• Be on-call to support staff and cover shifts as needed.
