Job summary

Community Services Group in the United States seeks a Program Supervisor to oversee daily operations of one or more community homes, providing supervision to direct support staff and coordinating activities, transportation, and safety. The role supports self-determination principles within IDD services.

You will participate in orientation and ongoing training, work with families and professionals, and help ensure high-quality community-based services.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent, and 1 year working experience in programs for individuals with mental illness/intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record, and access to a reliable vehicle to attend trainings, meetings, and/or transport individuals to appointments.
• Must be able to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Serve as direct supervisor of direct support staff and assist in interviewing, hiring, orienting and training.
• Coordinate and ensure development of schedules, activities and routines for community programs.
• Transport individuals to meetings, appointments or community activities as needed.
• Oversee inventory records and manage funds for individuals and the home.
• Adhere to program budget for food, supplies and operations.
• Support ethics and professional standards in daily care.
