Job summary

Pathfinder is seeking a Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP) in Huntington, IN. You will oversee ISPs, develop behavior plans, and partner with IDTs to ensure person-centered supports that promote independence and quality of life.

You will mentor Direct Support Professionals, lead training, and collaborate with guardians and case managers to coordinate services while maintaining compliance and strong communication. Starting pay is $20.60/hour with full-time hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in developmental human service or therapy field.
• Minimum of two years of experience in the Human Service field.
• Proven team management skills.
• Ability to interpret, or learn to interpret, financials.
• Goal driven.
• Positive attitude and team player who welcomes collaborative decision making.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, if needed.
• Crisis prevention, intervention, and teaching skills.
• Valid driver's license and current auto insurance required.
• Ability to speak, hear, and read the English language.
• QIDP shall have essential physical skills: run, squat, stoop/bend, kneel, climb stairs, lift up to 50 pounds, push/pull, and CPR when needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate ISPs to reflect each individual's wants, needs, and goals.
• Develop Behavior Support Plans when needed and monitor implementation.
• Lead and train Direct Support Professionals and others.
• Collaborate with Group Home Managers and IDT members.
• Attend ISP meetings and maintain regular communication with families and guardians.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and quality of life goals.
