Support, Inc. seeks a caring Day Services staff member to lead engaging activities for adults with IDD in Aurora. You will support daily living, accompany clients on community outings, and assist with transportation and personal care in a safe, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Active and Engaged; enjoys community activities and events.
• Tech-savvy; comfortable with basic computer tasks like email and documentation.
• Willing to pass a background check with no issues.
• Has reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Education: high school diploma or GED.
• Experience with adults with IDD is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate community and center activities to support social development.
• Assist individuals with hygiene, meals, and household tasks.
• Provide transportation and accompany individuals to appointments and outings.
• Support medical care: schedule/attend appointments and monitor health.
• Help with life skills and daily living activities for independence.
• Document progress notes and activity logs accurately and timely.
• Work hours vary based on individual needs.
